Persuasion Strategy Workshop

Learn and apply a powerful process

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to build a well-structured, persuasive story tailored to motivate your target audience to act. Throughout the workshop, you’ll apply Cruxio’s seven-step process to a strategic story of your own. These outputs will give you a jump-start on developing an upcoming persuasive communication that matters to you and to the success of your business.

Your strategic story is a bridge

If you’re in business you’re on a journey toward a better place. Whether your goal is to secure funding, to close a major sale, or to transform an organization, that journey faces barriers to progress that are like rivers that must be crossed.

Tackling obstacles and overcoming challenges is difficult and risky, so people tend to resist! They’re reluctant to make decisions in the face of uncertainty. They have competing priorities. Change is hard. You’ll learn how to surmount these barriers to action by creating persuasive strategic stories using the Cruxio Bridge model.

Shape the decision-making environment

Many business people think that decision-making is rational and objective, so they load their audience with facts and figures. This misses a big part of human decision-making: evidence repeatedly shows that decisions are heavily influenced by emotions.1

Data, facts, and logic are critically important, but ultimately they contribute to a deeper, “gut-level” decision. To persuade, you must influence the whole decision-making environment by speaking to your audience’s rational and emotional minds. All Eyes on You Workshop

A Great Story is Not Enough

A clear, persuasive story supported by high-quality visuals is worthless unless you can deliver it effectively. All Eyes on You equips you with specific skills that will raise your presentation ability to the next level. The workshop comprises two half-days: the first focuses on mental skills, the second on physical skills.

Stress gets in the way

When you’re in front of an audience it’s normal to feel stress, which produces adrenaline, triggering instinctual “freeze-flight-fight” behaviors. These self-protective responses shut down empathy with your audience, creating barriers to communication—and so to persuasion.

The skills you’ll practice in this workshop help to remove those barriers. You can apply these skills whether you’re presenting to a large business audience or engaging a small group professionally or socially.
